Winter Retreat: Dec. 27, 2017–Jan. 1, 2018

THE EXPERIENTIAL TRANSMISSION OF ZHANG ZHUNG, PART 4: Overcoming Obstacles

with Geshe Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche

TWR folded hands

The Experiential Transmission series, the centerpiece of Rinpoche's dzogchen teachings, is presented each year at our Winter Retreat. Part 4 focuses on overcoming obstacles to realizing the nature of mind.

The Experiential Transmission retreats allow Tenzin Rinpoche to continually guide and nurture a growing community of practitioners devoted to the authentic Tibetan Bön dzogchen path handed down from the Masters of Zhang Zhung – a lineage unbroken from ancient times to this day.

Participants will learn and engage practices that work with the channels, subtle breath and tigle, as well as continuing the practices of tsa lung and trul khor (Tibetan yogas).

Live translation will be available in Spanish.

Rooms at Serenity Ridge are expected to fill up quickly. Additional housing is available nearby.

Prerequisite: It is essential to study and practice the chapters of the Experiential Transmission in sequence. Therefore, participants must have received the teachings for the Experiential Transmission of Zhang Zhung, Parts 1, 2 and 3 before progressing to Part 4. Practitioners who have already received these teachings in a previous cycle of the Experiential Transmission are warmly invited to attend this retreat.
